How to Extract Images from PDF in High Quality
January 12, 2026Asset Hunter1 min read

We have all done it. You need an image from a report, so you take a screenshot. The result is blurry, pixelated, and looks terrible in your presentation. There is a better way.
Extraction vs. Conversion
PDF to JPG converts the whole page into an image. But Extract Images goes into the code of the PDF and finds the original image file that was embedded there.
The Quality Difference
If the original author embedded a 4K photo, extraction gives you that 4K photo back. A screenshot limits you to your screen resolution. Use extraction to build a library of high-quality assets from your documents.
