Our Accessibility Commitments

We go beyond minimum compliance. These are the standards we hold ourselves to across every page, tool, and interaction on PDFNations.

Full Keyboard Navigation

Every interactive element on PDFNations is fully accessible via keyboard. Tab through menus, tools, and actions without ever needing a mouse. Focus indicators are clearly visible on all interactive components, ensuring you always know where you are on the page.

Screen Reader Compatible

We follow WAI-ARIA best practices to ensure all content, buttons, form fields, and dynamic elements are properly announced by screen readers. Whether you use JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, or TalkBack, PDFNations is designed to work seamlessly with your assistive technology.

High Contrast & Color Accessibility

All text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). We never rely solely on color to convey information — icons, text labels, and patterns provide redundant cues for color-blind users.

Scalable Typography

Our interface supports browser-level text scaling up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. All font sizes use relative units (rem/em) ensuring your preferred text size settings are respected across the entire platform.

Responsive & Adaptive Layout

PDFNations adapts fluidly to any screen size, orientation, or zoom level. Whether you're on a 4K desktop monitor, a tablet, or a mobile phone, every tool and page remains fully functional and accessible without horizontal scrolling.

Touch & Pointer Accessibility

All interactive targets meet the minimum 44×44 pixel touch target size recommended by WCAG. Drag-and-drop interfaces include keyboard alternatives, and all gestures have button-based equivalents for users who cannot perform complex pointer interactions.

Standards & Compliance

We measure ourselves against internationally recognized accessibility standards and frameworks.
